Teachers Day Celebration

For all the patient, hard working and dedicated teachers... this day is for you.

STI Kidapawan often organizes events that focus on the special talents and intelligence of our dear colleagues *students. :)*.

However, on this day, we are giving tribute for the support and guidance given by our dear teachers.

The event started with giving tribute and message to our faculty members. Moreover, students came prepared because they are sure packed with gifts for their teachers *nice thought, guys! (thumbs up)*

The main event happened on February 19 around two o’clock in the afternoon. The Search for Faculty Model really thrilled the crowd as they go gaga every time their teacher or should I say “candidate” rock out the stage. Ms. Sterrin Sumalde, Ms. Hanna Mae Burcao, Mrs. Rubelyn Gamolo and Mrs. Wenelie Estrada are the lovely candidates of the said pageant.

The winner for the Faculty Model 2010 goes to *drumrolls* Mrs. Wenelie Estrada *cheers*. Mrs. Estrada also won three minor awards including Best in Formal Wear, Best in Denim Wear and Best in Casual Wear, followed by Ms. Burcao as the First Placer. Then, there goes Mrs. Gamolo as the second placer with Best in Sports Wear as a minor award.

Our crowds’ favorite, Ms. Sumalde was the third placer. *good going pretty profs!*

For the Teach-Sing Competition, our teachers shared their singing skills as they reached the high notes of their winning piece. Mr. Cornelio “Jun” Navarra Jr. won the competition. *applause*, followed by Mr. Raymond Liboon as the second placer, Mr. Danilo Quimco as the third placer, then Mrs. Vanessa Javonillo as the fourth placer. Plaques and certificates were also given to our teachers who have served STI Kidapawan for a decade now.

To our beloved teachers, we express our deep gratitude for sharing to us your knowledge and being considerate and patient enough when we commit our mistakes. Thank you for cracking, even the corniest jokes just to prevent us from getting bored in our classes. Thank you also for sharing us your experiences in life just to inspire us while we struggle to understand things in our world and help us grow.

For all the time and extra effort you whole-heartedly gave just to help us excel in our studies, to our Sirs and Mesdames, thank you very much!
