This two-year program aims to provide students with the technical skills to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware systems. In particular, this program starts by familiarizing students with the fundamentals of electricity and electronics, and then trains them in basic and advanced troubleshooting including network systems and operations.
This program is designed to provide students with a broad perspective of computer systems. It also hones students' skills in setting up and troubleshooting computer networks. Furthermore, it provides a balanced education and training in computer technology through the inclusion of software-related courses.
It also familiarizes the students with the electronic and computer hardware technologies that can prepare them for more advanced computer hardware or engineering programs. The curriculum requires students to undergo 486 hours of on-the-job training to ensure that the skills learned in this program will be utilized.
